You are worthy. Yes.
You are WORTHY. You are valuable, important and you matter.
I recognize this is not always easy to agree with. Depending on how we have been taught, told or programmed we may struggle with the idea that we are actually a worthy and valuable person.
What if you decided that you are straight up valuable? What if you switched out some negative thoughts for more inspiring, positive ones that point you in the direction you actually WANT to go?
Here are a few ways to do this that may be helpful for you:
- Take the negative belief you may have about yourself and make it a positive belief.
- Take “I am stupid,” and change it to, “I am wise.”
- Notice your self-talk and train yourself to speak to yourself kindly. Instead of, “I always screw up,” change it to, “I am learning from this today.”
- Write down who you really are using “I am” statements and focus on who you want to become. Create inspiring statements that reflect who you really are, such as
- I am kind.
- I am loving.
- I am abundant.
- I am a wealthy person in all areas of my life.
When you begin to establish that you are worthy and valuable, it makes it easier to set and maintain boundaries. In turn, this can help you enjoy yourself, your relationships and your life in a way that resonates with who you really are.
