What I Learned From Jay Jay French

The Inc. Magazine and Military Entrepreneur Program provide great opportunities for us military entrepreneurs to learn new things and connect with other successful folks in business!

Learning about this program and being invited to attend these events has changed my perspective forever!  In 2016 I had the opportunity to attend the Seattle ICONIC Tour and also got to attend the Las Vegas event!

I feel blessed because I have learned much even in my brief interactions with people such as Jay Jay French.  He is indeed a calm, poised and very insightful person.

I am grateful that I had the amazing opportunity to meet Mr. French and hear his words of wisdom around business growth, the amount of work it takes to manage people to success and the value of taking a walk.

Yes, a very simple pleasure that allows us to think, to unwind and reconnect with our inner selves.

On the days I am feeling hurried or rushed or just plain old irritated; I remember that maybe I better just get my butt out the door for a walk. My body appreciates me moving, my dog loves to get outside and my creativity has space to breathe.   And I am reminded that sometimes we need to just enjoy the birds, the flowers and the peace of mind that a walk brings.

This is something very simple to adopt and a bonus is knowing we are doing something that other successful people do!

I encourage you to step out of your comfort zone and you might just be surprised by what is right around the corner!

Amazing learning and life truly begins once we step out of our comfort zone!
